ICCO and international links

VTL is a member of ICCO, the international co-ordinating body of public relations consultancies associations. The ICCO has 24 full members and two observer members round the world.

The ICCO (International Committee of Public Relations Consultancies Associations was registered in Great Britain in 1989. It represents over 850 companies employing a total of over 20,000 persons. ICCO-affiliated companies have around 75 per cent of the European public relations market.

Twentyfour countries are full members of the ICCO. Countries that have a national public relations joint body or association may become members of the ICCO. The full members of the ICCO are Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States. There are two observer member countries: Hong Kong and Ukraine. Going from observer status to full members next year are: Bulgaria and Nigeria.

The day to day activities of the ICCO are dealt with in the London office by the administrator and Secretary General.
